Bloom After Dark

This work is inspired by a quiet night walk beneath blooming cherry blossoms, where the air felt warm and everything seemed still. The colors reflect a moment held in memory subtle, atmospheric, and deeply personal.

Layers of deep blue are contrasted with a soft blush ground, evoking the night and the presence of blossoms in the dark. A vertical gold leaf element traces through the surface, reflecting my scars and transforming them into something luminous, quietly catching light within the composition.
